Custom Retail Solutions helping Entrepreneurs and their products thrive in the Retail Market. CRS is a Full Service Sales Brokerage, established by Pedro Somarriba, after 30 years in the consumer goods industry, including international and domestic experience with Consumer Packaged Goods Companies as well as portfolio companies of Private Equity Firms.

Mr. Somarriba has led successful product launches as well as establishing national distribution for consumer packaged goods in the US, Caribbean and Latin America. The Key to this success is establishing a close working relationship between entrepreneur/manufacturer, broker and retailers, based on trust and results.

PEDRO SOMARRIBA

Pedro has a degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and is a CPA. His experience includes working in various executive positions at PepsiCo, Clorox and AlEn Americas in addition to serving as CEO of a Private Equity portfolio company.

CARMEN RAMSEY

Carmen is our National Sales Director. Although new to the retail market, Carmen understands the importance of building relationships not only with merchants, but our suppliers as well. Her previous experience in the medical field has helped shape her on-the-go problem solving, as well as understanding how to connect with people from all walks of life.

DEREK BENGTSON

Derek Bengtson has built his reputation and success by helping solve problems. His integrity, honesty and deep appreciation for listening and putting the customer first has resulted in great relationships and sales solutions for hundreds of vendor partners. He is proud to profess himself as a husband and father founded on Christian based principals truly focused on creating WINNING relationships for his partners and accounts.
His success has ranged from pioneering new business with small companies in growing sales past $100M to matching up vendor partners in order to maximize expertise in systems, flavors and manufacturing capabilities. He has specialized in start-up companies needing to build from the ground up but loves working with corporations needing to think outside the box and helping them align their strategy to the right targets and capital investments.
He is not your typical food broker and therefore also can work closely with businesses to help with succession planning and equity partnerships as businesses grow and mature with owners looking to diversify their time, investments and returns.
